Dr Alex Oliver Psychology

I am a Sports and Exercise Psychologist in Training (SEPiT). This means that I working towards professional competency and recognition with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).

Through my research with elite-level and club-level golfers I was awarded PhD in Psychology and I hold chartered Psychology status (CPsychol) with the British Psychological Society.

I have experience working with individual athletes, teams, and organisations at varying levels. I am based in central Scotland and I can offer consultancy and practice in-person or online to meet your preferences.

Anyone can visit and benefit from a Sports and Exercise Psychologist and develop psychological skills that can be transferred to other areas of life. I have a person-centred approach, this means that and firmly believe that my role as a Psychologist is to empower clients and enable them to fulfil potential as a person and a performer. This underpins all of my practice.

I am driven to help clients understand more about themselves and their performances. It is my aim to empower clients with skills to plan, monitor, and control their thoughts and performances in order to allow them to maximise their potential on and off the field.
